Bourbon Pear Dessert Pizza
This dessert pizza combines two of my favorite things—pizza dough and bourbon pears. The pears are slowly cooked in a buttery bourbon caramel until tender and glossy, then layered over a crisp pizza crust and finished with toasted pecans and a vanilla glaze. It feels fancy enough for company but simple enough for a cozy night at home. If you loved the flavors of my Pear Bottom Bread Pudding, you're going to love this one.

A decadent dessert pizza topped with bourbon caramel pears, toasted pecans, cinnamon sugar, and a rich vanilla glaze. Sweet, buttery, and perfect for sharing.
- 1.Prepare the Pears
- 2.In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- 3.Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, vanilla, bourbon, and salt. Stir until smooth.
- 4.Add the pears and cook for 6–8 minutes until tender and coated in a glossy caramel sauce. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- 5.Prepare the Dough
- 6.Preheat oven to 475°F. Stretch the pizza dough into a 13-inch round and place on a pizza peel, stone, or baking sheet.
- 7.Build the Pizza
- 8.Arrange the bourbon pears evenly across the dough. Spoon a little of the caramel sauce over the top. Sprinkle with toasted pecans and turbinado sugar.

- 10.Bake for 10–14 minutes until the crust is golden brown and crisp.
